Supervision plays a pivotal, nuanced, and intricate role in the journey towards becoming an effective therapist.
I provide supervision to California ASWs and MFTs working toward licensure. I collaborate with a collective of like-minded psychotherapists who are dedicated to the well-being of clients and their own growth, both professionally and personally.
I approach supervision from a holistic, integrative lens. I encourage my supervisees to explore the depths of who they are and get very intimate with how and why they practice as they do. My style is supportive, warm, and empathic. I believe we learn best when we feel safe to be vulnerable and honest. I encourage my supervisees to use their somatic and emotional experiences with clients as tools for self-inquiry, increased awareness of interpersonal dynamics, and deep attunement.
Supervision may take place in-person or over video. Video recordings will be utilized to review your sessions. I find this to be most beneficial in terms of my ability to proficiently assist you in your growth as a clinician and for you to get comfortable and intimate with your own work.
I thoroughly enjoy mentoring therapists-in-training and it is my pleasure to support future clinicians along their path to licensure.
