I view life experiences as sacred texts, each holding the potential to deepen our awareness of self.

My work navigates through the layers of internalized societal programming and cultural conditioning into the subtle imprints of the subconscious. Together we embark on a journey of peeling away what is not ours and unveiling the authentic self – a rare and precious manuscript hidden within the folds of existence.

Life is difficult for all of us at one point or another. Some of us are lucky enough to have a parent, friend, partner, or mentor in our lives with whom we feel safe. Yet even with those we feel most comfortable with we may, at times, hold back parts of ourselves in order to maintain the dynamics in the relationship. Sometimes we do this with awareness, other times we do not. Coming to therapy is giving yourself dedicated time to explore your depths with no limits. It is a space to examine experiences or parts of you that you may not feel comfortable fully exposing in other areas of your life. It is a place to redefine and clarify who you are.

My holistic approach is an invitation to savor the preciousness of life and nuanced beauty hidden in the ordinary moments. I encourage my clients to listen to the whispers of their own souls, embrace vulnerability, and embark on the sacred journey of uncovering the radiant authenticity that resides within each of us.

Together we navigate the labyrinth of selfhood, embracing the transformative power of presence and the profound artistry of what it means to be alive.

Seasons are 1-on-1 and can be held in-person or via Zoom.

SPECIALIZATIONS

  • There is a common thread I see in many of my clients: we are fighting to be good, to be honest, to be successful…and yet we feel lost. Maybe you have done everything you thought you needed to in order to be happy, and yet you are still suffering. Maybe you feel you have to constantly perform in order to be accepted. Or maybe you wonder: if anyone saw the real you – all of you – would they stick around?

We all yearn to belong. We all want to be free to be who we are.

Oftentimes the stories we have learned to tell ourselves keep us trapped in ways of being that are restrictive and exhausting.

Can you be your truest self and still be loved? Yes.
Can you live a life that is unique and uncharted and still be successful? Yes.
Can you feel at ease just being you? Absolutely.

Our time together is a playground for you to explore your entire self. My goal is that you come to understand that the parts of you deemed the most shameful may actually be the most beautiful.

  • The most important relationship of all is the one we have with ourselves. By learning to love and take care of the parts of ourselves that were traumatized, neglected, or abandoned we can discover the truth of who we are.

I want to support you in feeling competent to look at and understand all the parts of your inner world so that you may benefit from the immense wisdom and love you already have within. This is the journey home where you will find the courage to forge a unique path that is aligned with your soul’s calling.

  • Many of the clients I work with are searching for more when it comes to their profession. They want to do work that is more aligned with their values. They want to be in a professional environment that honors their entire person. They want to feel invigorated by their career.

I have assisted many clients in finding the courage to leave their current position and pursue a passion. I have supported others through being laid off or fired. I have spent time dreaming with clients to encourage their entrepreneurial spirit and collaborated with them as they explore what unique gifts they have to offer the world.

Our society’s values can be difficult to grapple with when we feel that our spirit is not aligned with what we have learned about success. Together we can reconnect with the preciousness of life and discover what is going to be meaningful and fulfilling despite what our culture, society, or family has taught us about what it means to be a desirable person.

  • Often we have difficulty integrating, understanding, and healing from past traumas and pain. This is where anxiety begins. When we carry anxiety within it takes away our ability to enjoy the present moment and to see things clearly. Anxiety can also get in the way of our health, causing us physical and emotional pain.

I work with clients to understand the role their anxiety is playing in their lives and what feelings it may be occluding. When we are able to create safety in the body and mind, we can look underneath our anxious thoughts to see what feelings exist and where they arose from. With this awareness, we can learn how to relate to ourselves in a way that is loving and calm, not fearful.

  • Life is full of grief and loss. I truly believe it’s not what happens to us, but how we metabolize it.

Loss can make us feel hopeless and isolated, but it can also crack us wide open, guiding us toward what is most important in life. Together we can learn how to hold grief with our heart, cherish what it shows us, and cope with the immense pain of losing someone we love.

  • We do not exist alone in this world. Often our struggles come from the meaning we’ve extracted from our past relationships and interactions with others. Throughout our time together we will explore how your past and current relationships have informed who you are today. With this information we can work to improve the quality of your connections so that you can create more meaningful, fulfilling, and beneficial relationships.

  • Feeling motivated to make change when we are depressed can be especially difficult. Depression can take our energy and leave us feeling unsure of who we are and why we are here.

In therapy we look at how depression is impacting your life and find ways to implement small changes so that you can feel more energetic and able to live the life you want. We will also explore underneath the surface to help free you from destructive patterns of thinking and behaviors. Most of all, we will hold space for all you are going through, find ways to soften the pain, and build a path back to enlivenment.

  • Being angry is not “bad,” despite what we have been taught. It is how we manage, communicate and feel about our anger which may cause problems in our life.

Anger is a sacred messenger. Feeling anger gives us useful information about who we are and what we need. In our work together we will use tools to help you regulate the impulses that anger brings about while exploring what your anger is communicating to you about something deeper.

  • Our relationship with our body and food is tender. Forming a close relationship with our bodies can be a source of infinite wisdom and joy, but often our ability and desire to connect deeply with our physical form is complicated. One of my great pleasures is supporting people in how to build a loving, healing, pleasurable relationship with their bodies. This includes any issues with eating, movement, sensuality or sexuality.

  • Mother Nature has an abundance of wisdom to share with us. Working with sacred plants can unlock an entire universe within. It can help us cope, see ourselves fully, learn how to love more intently and provide us with clarity. It is a pleasure for me to walk alongside my clients as they explore how to use plant medicine with purpose and sanctity in support of healing their souls.
